Model 2050 - Odor Control Sewer Vent Valve

The model 2050 sewer vent is a "normally closed" valve designed to contain odor. These valves incorporate two vacuum relief  valves that work in conjunction with each other to allow for pressure relief with only 3/8 P.S.I. during the exhaust or intake cycles. Alternating packets of  Zeolite and Impregnated Activated Carbon have also been added to insure odor control during the venting cycle. In addition, these valves also house two 2 inch floats which work to prevent inflow and overflow of wastewater.

Retrofitting Sewer Vent Valves

The ability to retrofit these valves to existing gravity sewer systems is one of the biggest advantages for incorporating  them into a municipal wastewater collection system. Retrofitting these valves is as simple as installing an adapter flange to the existing vent pipe. It may be mounted to a manhole cover dirct from the factory, saving on time and labor required to core the manhole . A 4" flanged connection is standard.
