The 2050 odor controlling series is designed to be a normally closed valve that contains two vacuum relief valves that can breath with only 3/8 of a PSI. When the valve does breath, the air is filtered thru odor media effective in removing hydrogen sulfide gas ( H2S ). The media is in pellet form, and is non-toxic and landfill disposable. Indicator pellets are blue in color, and turn white when the media is spent. A complementary lab analysis is also offered to determine the remaining life of the media. This is especially helpful in creating an effective PM program for odor control.

Each vacuum relief valve also contains two small ball floats that will effectively prevent inflow as well.
 
The odor controlling valve has been successfully used on both gravity lines and forced mains. Since it is installed in both residential and commercial locations, we powder coat it with a green tint epoxy so that it fits nicely into the landscape.
 
Tamper proof bolts line the front of the valve allowing for easy access for replacement parts.
