After many years involvement in the automotive industry, Bowmonk understands the high costs associated with running a fleet and the extent to which long idle times and the resultant fuel consumption and engine wear contribute to this.
We also know that vehicle emissions are a major cause of atmospheric pollution. For this reason we have designed the Idle Limiter. The Idle Limiter assists in saving fuel, minimising engine wear and reducing emissions by shutting an engine down after a preset number of minutes of idling.
The Idle Limiter will also record idling abuse, if the vehicle is restarted within 20 seconds of shut down the Limiter will count and record this activity.
