How do I know which is the “receiver” and which is the “transmitter”?
Disconnect the two connectors that are on the opposing sides of the sensor head and inspect the pin configuration of the two connectors.

The Transmitting Unit will have the most pins and only 2 open positions. The Receiving Unit has fewer pins and shows 4 empty holes.
