1700 Inverted Vent Check Valve

Wager is the original patent holder of the Inverted Vent Check Valve, a design developed to provide reliable protection and ventilation for marine tank systems. Engineered for demanding shipboard environments, this valve helps safeguard tanks and bulkheads from excessive pressure buildup while maintaining efficient ventilation during the loading and unloading of liquid or dry cargo.
During normal operation, the valve allows the free movement of air, ensuring proper pressure equalization within the tank system. In the event of heavy seas or adverse marine conditions, the internal ball float automatically rises and seals against the valve seat. This action prevents seawater from entering the tank, protecting the cargo from contamination and helping maintain the integrity of the vessel’s storage systems.
The inverted configuration of the valve provides dependable performance while minimizing the risk of water intrusion, making it a trusted solution for marine cargo operations where both ventilation and protection are critical.
Complete Piping and Fittings Support
In addition to our line of marine ventilation valves, Wager maintains a broad inventory of industrial pipe fittings to support both the marine and wastewater industries. Our available fittings include butt weld, threaded, and flanged connections, allowing for flexible installation and system compatibility.
To withstand harsh operating environments, fittings are available in hot-dip galvanized steel, aluminum, and 304 or 316 stainless steel, ensuring long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance.
