Seriously, is it just me, or have antibody prices skyrocketed lately? It feels like every time I go to order, the price has jumped up significantly. My lab's budget is already stretched thin, and these antibody costs are becoming a real burden. I’ve started trying to be more strategic about which antibodies we absolutely need versus ones we can maybe do without, but it's tough when you're trying to push forward with experiments. Are there any sneaky tricks or lesser-known suppliers that anyone has found to be more affordable? I'm all ears for suggestions!

I definitely feel your pain regarding antibody prices! Recently, a friend of mine pointed me towards https://gentaur.co.uk/, and I've been pleasantly surprised by their selection and prices. While it always pays to do your research and check validation data, they seem to offer decent quality antibodies at a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger suppliers. I ordered a few of their primary antibodies for a pilot study I was running, and they worked just as well as the ones I’d been paying a fortune for previously. Consider giving them a look – it might help ease the budget strain.
