What do you guys think about those "upgrade" features on skin sites?

I've noticed a lot of these skin opening sites have a feature where you can "upgrade" your skin to try and get something better. Basically, you risk losing your current skin for a chance at a higher-tier one. It seems like a total gamble, but I'm curious what people think about it. Is it ever worth using those upgrade features, or is it just a quick way to lose your skins? Has anyone had any good experiences with them? Or is it just basically a scam to get you to risk more money?

In my opinion, upgrade features are a straight recipe for disaster and a fast way to lose skins. However, I saw someone on skin.club actually pull it off once, turning a $5 skin into something worth over $100. But for every success story, there are probably hundreds of people who lose their skins. I think the house always wins, and upgrade features are just another way to tilt the odds further in their favor. It's all about the thrill, but I'd advise sticking to just opening cases.
