The Wager Model 1500-90 Vent Check Valve is designed for marine installations where a 90-degree outlet configurationis required. Unlike the standard vertical mount, the 1500-90 features a specially engineered 90-degree cover and flanged outlet that allows the valve to be mounted horizontally while still maintaining proper ventilation performance. This configuration makes it ideal for installations where space limitations or deck layouts require a side-discharge vent arrangement.

In its normal open position, the valve allows for the free flow of air, providing essential ventilation for tanks and bulkheads during standard vessel operation. When heavy seas or deck wash conditions occur, the valve’s internal disc-style float automatically rises and seals securely against a Buna seat. This reliable sealing action prevents seawater, spray, and debris from entering the vessel’s tanks and bulkheads, helping protect critical onboard systems.

The 1500-90 is available in all sizes, however 12", 14", 16" are only available with 1/4 x 1/4 mesh screen.
